Warm Welcome Champions Programme‍

Applications for our Warm Welcome Champions Programme are open from Monday 22nd June until Sunday 19th July via this online application form.

What is the Warm Welcome Champions Programme?

‍

The Warm Welcome Champions Programme runs between October 2026 to June 2027. It’s a 9-month programme to support 75 selected Warm Welcome Spaces to continue learning, partnering, and developing to be the best they can be. The programme gives your space opportunities to share your challenges, achievements and aspirations with other spaces and a chance to influence our Warm Welcome Campaign’s UK-wide strategy.

This includes:

‍

• In Person events: There will be two in-person meetings within our nine-month programme (in October and June) and you will receive travel expenses to attend.
  ‍
• Monthly on-line Champions meetings: Participate in online monthly Champions Shared Learning sessions, each themed on one of our 8 Building Blocks.
  ‍
• Peer Support: Champion Spaces will be matched and buddied with at least two other Champion Spaces to help you to connect on areas you identify you most want to develop or to share knowledge.
  ‍
• Receive tailored and specialised support and training from our team and our partners. This will include someone coming to visit your Space.
  ‍
• Opportunities to access funding, volunteers and resources to support your space, including a £2,000 grant (in 3 instalments) to support participation in the programme.
  ‍
• Showcase Your Space by having the opportunity to tell your story to local and national media. Be supported to invite and host visits from reporters, celebrities, businesses and policy makers.
  ‍
• Connection to UK wide campaigns: Being part of Warm Welcome Week (19-25 January) and other national campaigns to increase your influence and impact.
  ‍
• Continuous Learning and Improvement: Feed in ideas and help us to evaluate and develop the Champions Programme and the UK wide Warm Welcome Campaign.
