Warm Welcome for All
Not everyone can find a local Warm Welcome Space. Our research shows that although 62% of the population live within a 30-minute walk of a local space, awareness of these spaces is low. Only 18% of people across the UK say they are aware of a space near their home.
We want to grow the number of Warm Welcome Spaces so 100% of the population has a space close to home.
With your help, we can make sure 100% of the population can find a Warm Welcome Space in their neighbourhood, in places where people of all cultures, faiths, and walks of life can come together in their communities.

How to make the 100% Pledge?
What can I do?
The Right Honourable Gordon Brown has shared a message of support for Warm Welcome Spaces as they prepare for winter.
In his message, Gordon Brown says:“Today almost two out of every three people are within 30 minutes of a Warm Welcome Space in their community. We have set ourselves a new mission for the next year to ensure that 100% of the population has access to a Warm Welcome Space within walking distance. And to make our offer of welcome real, we will this year aim to ensure that instead of just 1 in 5 people knowing where to find their local space, all will have the chance to know what is on offer.”
“Join me in taking the Warm Welcome for All 100% Pledge. Everyone has a role to play. You can all do something to help as supporters or partners—whether as the provider of spaces, the volunteer at the spaces, or the funder of the spaces, and working together, we can drive out the worst of Britain by bringing out the best in Britain, unlocking the power of community, and creating a more deeply connected society, made by and for everyone.”
