For UK registered charities and regulated exempt charities, working anywhere in the UK. Three themes: participation in the performing arts, creative health including arts therapies, short breaks for young carers, animal assisted therapy and horticulture, and heritage crafts and skills. Unrestricted funding is available to charities with income under £250,000, and project budgets may include a proportionate share of core costs. You will need examined accounts, safeguarding policies, a senior co signatory and a bank account in the organisation's name. Will not fund capital projects or routine maintenance, individuals, medical research, mainstream education from nursery to post 16, sport, universities, hospices directly, work outside the UK or retrospective costs.

Deadline: 5pm Friday 2 October 2026 for charities with income of £5 million and under. Decisions 20 November, applicants told by mid December 2026.
