Morrisons Community Foundation
Our Connecting Communities grants offer up to £20,000 to charities who provide placed-based services to our entire community or specific groups.
Funding is available to support capital projects that:
- Breathe new life into local spaces: Upgrade and revitalise buildings and outdoor areas.
- Bring people together: Reduce social isolation and foster a strong sense of belonging.
- Secure the future: Ensure vital local services remain open and accessible for generations to come.
APPLICANTS MUST:
- Be charities registered with the Charity Commission England and Wales, OSCR, Jersey Charity Commissioner, Charities Register of Guernsey and Alderney or the Board of Charity Commissioners for Gibraltar.
- Own the property where the project is being delivered, or have a long-term lease with a minimum of 3 years remaining
- Have at least one set of accounts filed the relevant charity regulator.
WE CANNOT SUPPORT:
- CICs, charities with exempt/excepted status, or organisations that are not registered charities.
- Charities that promote religious or political messages
- Charities whose main purpose is animal welfare
- Charities who have filed their accounts late, had accounts marked as qualified within the last three years
- Charities who have received funding from us within the last two years
There is no fixed deadline to apply for a Connecting Communities grant, we process applications monthly. You can expect a decision within 8 weeks, with successful applications being paid 4 weeks after award.
