Dorset Community Foundation - Green Futures Fund

Grants of up to £4,000, with smaller requests welcome, for local groups in Dorset supporting water conservation, environmental action and young people's environmental aspirations. The top priority is safeguarding water, such as awareness campaigns to reduce water use, rainwater harvesting for community gardens, and improving river and freshwater quality. Other priorities are engaging young people in environmental activities and careers, and involving local people in community growing, green spaces, recycling and sustainability. Funding can cover core, delivery and reasonable capital costs. Open to charities, constituted groups and not-for-profit companies, including CICs limited by guarantee. There's one round a year: applications open on 19 Oct 26, with a deadline of 12 noon, 16 Nov 26.
